And this also highlights that the housing market is still very strong here in the greater Twin Cities. We are seeing a lot of buyer demand, and VERY low inventory. This despite rising interest rates.

📣Buyers: be prepared. Get pre-approved. Figure out your budget. Work with an agent, you know and trust and respect. Work with a local lender. Be ready for competition, but not quite as crazy competition as the last two years we aren’t seeing as many waived, inspections or appraisal gaps, but they are starting to pop up more and more so just make sure you know all the facts and know what you can and cannot do as a buyer.

📣Sellers: it might be a tough pill to swallow to be selling a home that you may have a lower interest-rate on, but if your time is now and selling is on your mind, this is still a great time to be a seller.
